Something worth mentioning is that this renovator stands out as one of the rare few who offered SketchUp layout modelling of the proposed layout even before the job was officially awarded. Understandably, layout modelling requires more effort on the part of the designer, but this greatly aids the clients by presenting a clear visual preview of how their home will look after renovation.

Responsiveness overall was reliable, with quick replies to inquiries and proactive updates. What consistently impressed us was the fact that this renovator didn’t just know the technical details, they explained how different materials fit everyday home needs and maintenance. For example, consideration for the correct height of the microwave and oven. Every renovation choice was explained clearly, with pros and cons outlined to support the customer in making a choice. At HAUSMARK, we think this is an important attribute that a renovator must possess to propose designs that are not just nice to look at but practical and functional.

We also visited the TradeHub showroom, which offers a refreshing contrast to the Ubi branch. Spanning two storeys, with the working office located on the second level, the showroom showcases a Scandinavian-inspired theme. The beautifully mocked-up kitchen and open discussion area create a welcoming environment that encourages ideas and collaboration. A potential enhancement for the future could be the addition of more mock-ups, such as a living room or bedroom, to further inspire customers and help them visualize their dream homes even more vividly.
